The Long Night Returns!
Following its success in 2008 the popular Long Night returned on Thursday 24 September in conjunction with the Abandon Normal Devices (AND) festival.
This year for the first time Long Night visitors were able to enjoy events right through the night until breakfast the following morning. As well as being able to view art after hours in Liverpool’s many galleries both large & small, there were a number of one-off events and performances that enhanced the night and animated the city after-hours.
Venues who took part in the Long Night included, TATE Liverpool, FACT, the A Foundation and lots of smaller independent galleries across the city. During the evening over 8000 people visited the Long Night events and enjoyed themselves into the early hours.

Mike Stubbs, Director/CEO of FACT said
"After the massive success of last year's Long Night, it's fantastic to see an even longer list of Liverpool's venues and galleries working together to create an exciting evening of after dark activity across the city."
